About Us

Fairfield Community Hub is Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation founded in 2007

The ethos behind The Hub is to be a catalyst in bringing back a sense of pride, enthusiasm and connectedness to the community through sports, creative classes and other recreational activities.

We believe these classes and leisure activities bring the local community together and our aim is to create a safe space for all. We believe these opportunities should be available to everyone, regardless of their background.

Fairfield Community Hub also has its own food larder that's ran by Volunteers.

Our Larder relies on Donations and all money received goes into buying food and toiletries.

The difference between ourselves and a Foodbank is the people who attend can pick what they need, depending on their own circumstances to help them feed their households.

Giving them a shopping experience without the worry of how much it will cost.

Walking Football has renewed my passion for football.
Since starting my fitness has improved, my passion for the game has returned, it feels like it did when I played in my twenties. Banter during and after training, competitions all over Scotland, UK and even Europe with my “mates” As for mental health many find that hour playing with your mates helps you switch off from life and the buzz you get when you win (or lose) has you coming back for more. There are loads of clubs all over the city but I’m happy with my group even though you are always welcomed at every other club’s sessions.
